The Twins need to put a bounty on Robinson Cano. He is single-handedly winning these games.

It's kind of amazing to me--in a sad sort of way--watching these games and comparing how much actual impact on a game Cano has and how little Mauer has.

 

I realize it's just a three game sample, but IMO Mauer has about as little long term impact on actual results as humanly possible for someone with his hitting numbers.

Chief, I think the difference is that guys actually get on base before Cano gets up.

Mauer never has an opportunity to hit someone in. Or at least very rare...

Mauer is 9th in the AL in runs created. He's 6th in runs created per 27 outs. Little impact, indeed...
