How fast is Sano? The profile on the Twins website lists his speed as a 3, but I see he has 9 stolen bases and 4 triples so far this year. I'm just a little confused on how he could do that while being a slow runner.

Some people were worried about Sano after his "slow start" in New Britain. I LOLed at the time and I LOL even more now. Yeah, so it took two weeks for a 20 year old kid to make the biggest jump in professional baseball that isn't the jump to the Majors.

 

Miguel's last ten days:

 

.286/.324/.857/1.181 with five homers, two doubles, and two triples.

 

Hmm. Maybe the kid will be fine after all.

Sano is still my #1 prospect. Buxton is ridiculous but a 30-40hr hitter at 3b is incredible. There aren't really any comps for Sano's power. He's that good.
