I've been saying we should be skeptical and needed more data on Darnold before making a call on his future for months now, so why do I feel so bad?

I was ready to back up the brinks truck after the packers game. I don’t think too many were truly predicting this bad a drop off

I was never fully sold, but the dropoff last week was stunning.  The fact that he didn't revert at all back to the guy we saw this season is still a little surprising.

I made a big deal bout how 90% of last week was on him.  I'm not backing down from that.  It's there again tonight.

Randall Cunningham, Jeff George, Brett Favre. It's been over a decade, but we aren't unfamiliar with the washed-up-bum, turned one-year-hero, turned oh-I-guess-he-was-washed-up-after-all QBs.

Less than a year in this case I guess.

Even a mediocre performance, even in a loss tonight, and I would have said, “sure, run it back one more time” next year. 

At this point there’s no way Darnold can be invited back to this team. 

I don’t know what they do. Sign another Darnold-type of guy I guess and hope & pray. Will probably lose B-Flo?
