Which year? Because both those guys will be back... They used multiple potential starters to draft him. He has to be great or it was a bad pick

Hopefully next year when they bulk him up.  If the production doesn't come then, it's a failed pick.  I certainly agree they passed on guys who would've been better immediate contributors.

I'm not sold he's Lewis Cine though.

Kwesi needs to be gone.

I’ll say this… I’m more sold on extending KOC than I am Kwesi. But I weigh their ability to draft above all else when evaluating GMs. The Vikings will always be a veteran team if Kwesi can’t draft young talent.

No one said he's cine . Multiple guys were traded for him.

I mean, if he's declared a failed pick, that's what he is.  Yes, they gave up some mid round picks to move up and get him.

I just wouldn't give up on a 21 year old with that kind of freaky athleticism yet.

Surprised they didn’t call the TO and try for some kind of a sideline pass to get into FG range. Sirianni just gave up it seemed

Yup, hence my Cam Skattebo love.  I want the Vikes to add some grit/nasty.

I don't want Leroy Hoard though. He's so slow. I want someone who's fast enough to break long runs with or without getting contacted.

I want a nasty OL, the RB can be nasty, but that's not the priority for me. He needs to be shifty with a burst.

Yeah, Kwesi nailed free agency. But he can't draft.

Does the same guy absolutely have to be in charge of both of those things? I mean I know how the job has always worked, but can't the Vikings do something different? Because I'm happy keeping Kwesi if he keeps doing the thing he is good at if someone else can do the thing he isn't good at.

I won’t stand for any Leroy Hoard slander 😂

I want a Gibbs clone. He’s so dangerous with the ball in his hands. I think that will be TreVeyon Henderson from Ohio State. That dude has 4.2 something speed

No slander, he was a great short yardage bruiser, but definitely not a three down back, particularly not in today's game.

Also, he had one of the games best quotes of all time: "Coach, if you need one yard, I'll get you three yards. If you need five yards, I'll get you three yards."

Funny because it's true.

For my generation, that’s Ben Jarvis Green-Ellis, the law firm

We will be on the same page this offseason in this regard. Henderson is my pick too.

Like Gibbs and Kamara before him, there will be questions about his workload because he shared carries in college. Great, let that push him down the draft boards. That's just going to leave more tread on his tires at the NFL level.

Maybe I've just watched more of him, I don't see him as that guy.

People dogged Montgomery for a lot of reasons too, but power, contact balance, and shiftiness are hard to teach.

And as I did in my mock offseason - I added a shifty, all-gas runner too!
