I'm just thrilled the Vikings took their big swing on a QB last year, because this year's QB draft class terrifies me. Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward might be 1st round talents and the rest I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. I don't understand the Jalen Milroe hype at all. Quinn Ewers is a mid round talent.

Jets lose to another former Jets QB, Rodgers throws a pick six to a DL, and they extend the longest active losing season streak. Good day.

The play before that Rodgers missed a wide open WR who didn't have anyone within 5 yards of him. It's time for him to hang it up.

I hope he kills another franchise next year.

If he retires, he'll probably be put in Trump's cabinet as director of the interior or something.

That hit on Lawrence of the jags was so dirty. Should be a multi game suspension for whichever Texan it was that did it

Listened to the last Vikings drive on AM radio in the car, on the way to home Depot....

Impossible to believe the Vikings won that game after arizona had that drive that ended in a FG. I mean they had a shot to end it right there and had the bad intentional grounding on Murray

They should have won by twenty. But the Vikings somehow won

I don’t have any particular dislike for the 49ers. I guess it’s annoying how good they’ve been over the last however many years. But it’s rough watching a “run” (not dynasty) end. We’ve been there a couple times.

Ravens might be there in a year or two, too.

They cold be, but I think Lamar Jackson is capable of carrying a club in a way that Brock Purdy isn't.

Tucker's season has been painful. I think he's cost them two games. I think he's the GOAT for kickers so I can't imagine they'd just part with him, especially for a journeyman, but non-emotionally, it does make some sense.

Yeah, I agree. Not looking like a great class and obviously the Vikings wouldn't be getting either of the top two guys.

The one guy no one is talking about that I think will rise up draft boards is Clemson's Cade Klubnik, assuming he declares. Sounds like he gets rid of the ball quick, with a strong arm and good mobility. I'm guessing people are going to start drawing Bo Nix comparisons as soon as the evaluators start going full steam ahead.

Happened with all the great kickers. Vinatieri, Morten Andersen and Gary Anderson. Epic start to their career but at some point they hit a wall. They all recovered but with another team. A fresh start somewhere else without the legacy pressure may rejuvenate him.

It's quite possible the Niners blow the whole thing up.  They may have a high pick and prefer to draft their next QB than commit big money to Purdy.

If I was their GM....that's exactly what I'd do.  Purdy isn't worth the commitment IMO.

agreed on Purdy. If they have OLD vets, I'd consider dealing them if I was them, but if the rookie QB is good (terrible class for QB this year), then maybe don't make deals? Can you deal McCaffery at this point?

Looks like McCaffrey is going to be pretty pricey to dump on someone. Cap hits will crush the 49ers if they try to trade him, Aiyuk, Williams or Samuel, with Samuel likely being the easiest to cut but hardest to trade.

Saying that, I'd guess they're stuck and will end up saying, what the heck, let's give it another go in 2025.

But if/when they do move on from Purdy, I could see Shanahan thinking he could revitalize a QBs career instead of going with a rookie. Heck, he's probably quietly stewing that O'Connell is getting the credit for Darnold.

I mean, as others have said, sign Darnold in SF......
