Say what you want about their amateur scouting...

But the deals for Robinson and Akers were worth every penny.

Yeah, draft pick compensation for non-star players is a joke. If you want to make a run, this is an easy low risk avenue to fix the club.

On the other hand, if they aren't making a run, I really, really dislike that the Vikings are the third oldest team in the league. They have to find a way to fix this somehow.

Per PFF, Bradbury was the 2nd highest graded player on offense last night. 3rd highest graded player on the team. Now I’m questioning whether I watched the same game as PFF last night.

Other than being turned into a speed bump on the one play, I thought he played pretty good. We did run for 133 yards, most of it up the middle. Ingram had a bad first half but looked better in the second half.

I'm still of the mind that the one play was so comically bad that it will be remembered all year.

But I agree, I hadn't seen them run up the middle like that all year. And the Colts have some pretty good players on the DL.

PFF has really gone down hill. Several of the founders are on teams now.....

As for the Vikings age, I'm on that worried. Other than Smith, I don't know of anyone important that is near retirement at all. I doubt they'll get much younger next year either, since they have so few draft picks.

I do think he played a good game, but that single play should've been devastating to his grade.  It single-handedly swung the game at that point.  It was comically bad how easily he got rag dolled.

To piggyback a bit on what @gunnarthormentioned - they made some front adjustments I really liked:

Greenard seemed to exclusively rush from the right and you can tell he's more comfortable there.  Dude was a menace.

They moved Gink into the middle on clear passing downs and dropped him into coverage more often and blitzed Pace more.  That's taking away a good rusher, but I think the coverage over the middle was way better that way.

It freed up Turner to come off the edge on the left and he looked better for it too.

This is going to improve so much when Cashman gets back.

Also shows that they're going to need to find another versatile MILB next year, because the whole thing can't come to a screeching halt over just one player.
