I read that the sausage was kept in Jeffers shoe for transport.  Of all Rocco's concern of sickness from this ""sausage fest" this aspect seems most troubling.  Someone needs to inspect these shoes for health code violations!

I like my sausage with kraut and mustard. How do you enjoy 'em?

I had my brat last night with kraut, grilled onions and mustard ... it was divine 🙂

I part-grill the brats, then simmer them in beer and onions. Great, moist flavor, and the onions are fantastic.

Used to be with peppers, onions, and simmered in tomato sauce for several hours. Unfortunately, the internal body plumbing doesn't go for that any more. There's probably more I shouldn't, or can't eat...than there is stuff that I can. Old age has it's way of taking it's toll. Oh well.

Huh, Larnach DHing, and Kirilloff in LF again.  I had always thought that Larnach was sort of average in the OF.  Not great, not a liability.  Kirilloff I've always considered to be well below average.  Yet this lineup has been the recent trend.  Wondering why...  Is Larnach nursing a minor injury?

I don't think so. I'm also not sure we know what they really think of the fielding skills of any of these guys, lol. Kirilloff is healthy it appears, that might help.

I just got back from a two day stay in the VA hospital. Unfortunately, I had to have surgery to remove 3 fingers from my right hand. 

I asked the doc today as he was clearing me for discharge if I'd still be able to use the hand on a keyboard to post on TD.

"Yeah, most likely," he said. "But I wouldn't count on it."

Is "summer sausage" a regional thing? It makes for great discussion, but it's actually not THAT unhealthy to be handled in the way the team is doing it. As such, I prefer it with cheese and crackers, such as on a charcuterie board. 

"Charcuterie," by the way, is a French word meaning, "Didn't have enough bread for sandwiches."
