First of all, Jeffers made a great play and the team got an out. 

A centerfielder would have caught that fly ball. Castro was lost. Not a particularly quick recovery. But seriously. The only redeeming thing about Correa's throw was it was a quick turn and part of an out at the plate. The throw was a 2 hopper that made Jeffers go up the line. This play was all Jeffers taking a poor throw and making a great play. Castro looked a little bit like Delmon Young trying to make a catch in the outfield, and his "out" eventually scored.

Correa has made some great plays, for sure. This was not one of them, but the result was great thanks to Jeffers.

Vasquez has 2 SB, Buxton 1, SB far this  season

Short start for SWR. Very unimpressive IMHO. Velo down, and his pitches weren't fooling the Sox very often. The best thing is that the score is only 1-0.

My gripe about Funderburk so far in his career is getting the first guy. This is really important this time with Pham batting and the sacks juiced.

SWR seems good at getting out of jams, to a degree. 8 hits and 2 runs. Same last week, more or less.

But...concerning...let's hope he's just having a couple of bad games.
