It is early but how exactly do you think it would change from last year when there was zero personnel changes in regards to hitting ? 

We squeaked by with our pitching, but we got rid of a decent innings eater starter and made no move to replace him with someone comparable.

It really is a head scratcher hearing from some that they are surprised at how we are doing, even though it is only April I see nothing but a downward trend for this team until they make significant changes to their conditioning personnel, hitting coach and head coach. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Twins are 7th in baseball in BB% right now. They are striking out too much still, and their BAwRISP is horrible, but they do take walks.

I am concerned about Wallner. Last year I was on his band wagon and wondered why they did not call him up sooner. Maybe the pitchers have figured out how to pitch to him, but he has really looked bad this season. I  know it is still very early in the season, but is not getting any hits and has too many strikeouts. So far the 2 corner outfielders are not helping the Twins win games.

Nope it's never too early for wine or did you mean is it too early to whine about the Twins? 😀   All kidding aside I don't think it's too early to panic either.  This team is not going to win the division this year.  The sooner the Twins get Lewis back the better and they might as well call up Lee when he gets healthy and has a week or two in AAA to get going again.  This team's offense is putrid.
