Celestino also having a good spring so far with the Pirates, hitting at a .435 clip. Meanwhile, with the A's, Rooker is struggling to reach the Mendoza line. Yeah, this is just spring training but it's fun to follow the progress, or lack thereof, of all the ex-Twins.

I was sad to see him go too, but he appeared to be the odd man out in the bullpen mix. His average has been dropping in ST the past 2 weeks, but he might still make the opening day roster. Then again, Michael A. Taylor was signed by the Pirates last week, which won't help Celestino's chances.

His batting average ain't much but he's drawing some walks, and has hit a few  homers this spring. Will be interesting to see if he makes the team.

Over in NYC, the long-lost Nick Burdi has resurfaced with the Yankees and has had an impressive spring so far.

In his first regular season game,: Rortvedt went 2 for 3 and scored twice in Tampa Bays victory over the Toronto.

Joey Gallo went 3 for 4 , with a home run last night; he may soon get up to the Mendoza line.

Same game opposing team: Micheal Taylor had 3 Ks but drove in two runs. So far this season he is doing well.
