“He’s shown plus range in the corner outfield, with solid speed and a strong arm that led to 23 outfield assists over the last two seasons.” So he has better than average range and decent speed, with a strong arm and a lot of outfield assists. How does that make him “passable” in the eyes of evaluators?

So major league at bats?  Why?  He can get plenty of bats in AA.  How can a prospect who was an MVP just 21 years old be a lost prospect?

This will be a curious case. Rosario was part of the last Bomba-squad model draft, since then the Twins have really focused on higher contact hitters. I don't know enough about him, but his promotions will probably depend if the strikeouts are due to free swinging, or from not swinging enough as the Twins are clearly differentiating between those two things lately.

It's hard to fathom the thinking on the part of some of the commenters on this thread. Dude is only 21 years old. IMHO there should be nothing but optimism.
