I guess the Uecker game won’t be hard to find while looking at his home run log. Uecker on base twice in one game??? Didn't happen often. lol. He is an awesome baseball announcer/comedian.

In his first 16 starts he pitched 94.2 innings at an ERA of 2.76. His last 6 starts covered 28 innings with an ERA 6.75. He needed a rest and the Twins need another RP, so optioning him back to STP was the best decision for both. 10 days in STP will allow him to skip a start or have a 2-3 inning start for STP. Agreed, under these circumstances I can understand sending Ober down to regroup. Also like that the Twins had taken him slower to start the season which basically has kept him off the IL. But I'd prefer pacing Ober more so he wouldn't hit that wall so we could keep his effective arm up in the MLB not in AAA again.

Imagine the outrage if they'd taken him out when pitching well, to bring in RP.....

I know the outrage, many times this type of outrage have been wrong. Here they'd be wrong again.
