Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Joe, we don’t need another CG shutout. But it would be nice.
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Dont like Buxton hitting 4 and Kepler 5. Big K hole in middle of the order.
umterp23 Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Buxton 4th. He must have a clause in his contract that says that is the lowest he can swing and miss in the lineup. 5 tool guy is down to a 1 tool guy and his too is with a plastic hammer for a bat. Bremer will most likely say even though he can't play in the field, he can still run and steal bases. Don't want to hear it, if he can do that, he can play in the field. Last 15 games is batting a whopping .111 with 21 K's in 45 AB's. Kepler, 5th. Time to move on from him as well, but FO sure won't give up on $8.5MM defensive skill set with horrific offensive skills. Read a stat that said the shift ban has helped lefty batters by about 10-15% success rate. Kepler must not have listened to that stat as his career avg is .231 and he is .204 after being at .180 and some change over a week ago.
SD happy Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Stewart to the IL. Yikes! That hurts!

Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 I see we have already been defeated. That’s too bad.

CRF Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Losing Stewart for any amount of time, is going to be a real killer for this team. He was pitching great. It probably means more of Pagan too. That's like a double dagger.

Probably not the smartest thing to do, but they still went out and performed.

Bob Gibson in his autobiography said he never got a full nights sleep, throughout his career, because of the pain in his arm.

RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 I wonder if Atlanta' starting pitcher's nickname is 'Katie'?
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 At least a fly ball, Buxton! Come on.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 We'll take that any and every day of the week. Yay!
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Why is Kepler hitting ahead of Royce?!
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Well that's it. 1 run for our offensive output for this game. (I hope not, but I've got a feeling).
jkcarew Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Once again, the offense can’t buy a strike out when it needs one.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 Just now, Danchat said: Why is Kepler hitting ahead of Royce?! Because Kepler was the first guy in the clubhouse and asked rocco. First come, first served.
