Gordon's slash line in May. Not great, but better than Correa and Buxton.

Let's let them play the game. They're winning more than they're losing... AND they're in first place.

A 794 OPS in May is well above average for the league.  It's also higher than Buxton, Correa, Polanco, Taylor, Kepler, Gallo and Solano.  Taylor does a lot of other things well but his OPS for May is .616.  Two months ago people were saying he should be starting in the OF.  I don't think he is a crucial piece but having Gordon as the 26th man is a good situation.

Solano is the most expendable once Lewis arrives IMO.  Castro has far more defensively flexibility.  Castro goes down when Kepler comes back which I would assume will be before Lewis is up but those two events will hopefully happen relatively close together.

Not if the .875 fielding percentage I see for him at 3B in Wichita is indicative of his ability to handle the defensive side of the game.  (And it may not be, but is the quickest thing I could find.)

No idea what his end position will be, but I doubt there's ever been a talented offensive player who didn't make the majors because of his defense. If his bat is legit, they'll find a place for him. Or they would if the available pool of prospects wasn't getting crowded.

If healthy they should bring up the 2023 prospects and give them time to show what they can do. and stick with them for at least a month.  They all need MLB experience and they need to not have to worry about being sent down.  Who is in their vision/plan for the near future?

Disagree. The Twins are playing for this year and they can't use this year as a time for development. Injuries and poor performance will provide many of these guys a chance to show what they have. Maybe a couple of the hitters can force their way on the team, Royce Lewis has a clear path and anybody that can get big league hitters out will get a chance to pitch for the '23 Twins.

I  can see them making the play-offs in the ALC but IMO and not trying to be negative about the playoff but can they get out of round 1?  Is holding their development worth an extra 3 games?

Every one of those players have or will have their time in the bigs this year. (Hopefully Martin will progress to that point.) That IS development. But extended time? No, probably not, except for Royce. Or maybe one of the pitchers. I’m not sure why you think we should do such a major over haul to the active roster by making room for all those players when we are currently in first place. We took one of three from the Dodgers, at their home, and pretty much held our own against them. That is not a team to give up on now because you think we won’t get deep into the playoffs, imo. Tweak it? Yes. Shuffle a few chairs? Yes. But supplanting that many players on the active roster? No. Unless they make trades for even better players. I want them to win the division and make the playoffs. With their starting pitching, I think that plays well for them in the playoffs. They definitely need to strengthen their BP, but I like our chances and am not going to give up in the middle of May.

If you think they can go far in the play-offs I agree.  Curious is it pitching or hitting or a combo that we need.  What if anyone with an ERA under .250 be replaced with a player the Twins have deemed our future.

The team has been fun to follow so far but I don't see anything that would have them going far in the playoffs if they make it.

Not trying to argue I just think it is time to stop piecing together lineups.  Just a wish!

Not sure if this was address to me or not. IMO, playoffs are crapshoot, however, with the Twins starting rotation, I think that plays well for playoffs. However, yes, their bats have to remain consistent. I don't think we need a 'juggernaut' lineup, just one that can keep us in it. Yes, the BP needs tweaking. That's what I would address. We have 2 or 3 rp that I feel confident in. I'd like to see a trade for two more, like they did at last year's deadline. It would have been nice if that were addressed in the off-season as many of us had wished, but here we are. As for your list of 7, I think all of them will/should see some time on the active roster, and will contribute, but not sure if they will get significant and consistent time other than Royce.

When Lewis is ready, one of Solano, Castro or Gordon should go. I’d DFA Solano at that point, but I think there’s an open roster spot and Castro has an option.

I wouldn’t DFA any of those 3 until I had to. Injuries happen.

This makes a whole lot of sense  , I hope Lewis stays healthy and plays well in st Paul  and forces them ( FO ) to activate him may 1st ...
