h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Unbelieveable. A .125 hitter and walk off walk. Lopez.
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Tough, tough loss. 11 straight losses to Dodgers. 🤢
tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Good game. Unfortunate ending. Another game tomorrow night.

USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Not scoring bases loaded no outs, and giving up an 0-2 hit lost this game. Not Lopez.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Ball 4 to Thompson was strike 3 to Kirilloff from Cuzzi.

That's why they called it a walk off then, and not on the last pitch. That's right, they didn't. Those other plays could have won the game, but the walk off walk to a .125 hitter lost it.
wabene Verified Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Would've liked Lopez to challenge the hitter there.

Cuzzi was totally fooled by the pitch to Kirilloff and once he raised his arm he did not make the quick yell "No, that's a ball". I think an umpire should be able to see their mistake and be able to instantly correct themselves. But they never do.
CoastiePilot08 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Not sure why Lopez is nibbling against a guy batting .125

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Bickford. Almost a 5 ERA coming into the game. And the Twins can't push more than one run in. Damn
