Willihammer Provisional Member Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 We're really going to trot out Hernandez and his 86 mph lefthanded meatball against all those righthanded boppers? Really? Instead of Hendriks? I preditct 2 of Trout, Pujols, and Trumbo homer off him.
SweetOne69 Verified Member Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Brock, you should update the Twins rotation for the series as I believe that it is Correia, Pelfrey and Worley.

glunn Community Moderator Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 At least the Twins won't face Weaver in this series. That no hitter last year was not fun.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 The Twins bats really need to get well, and if they can't against Joe Blanton who is off to a rough start this year then I dunno... Plus, since I was less than lukewarm on the Twins making Blanton an offer in the off-season, I definitely am rooting for an offensive breakout for the Twins today.
Boom Boom Verified Member Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Wow, Brendan Harris starting at shortstop for the LAAoA. They must be in bad shape in their middle infield.
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Sounds like the Hammer has a little flu.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Wow, Brendan Harris starting at shortstop for the LAAoA. They must be in bad shape in their middle infield. That's what I was thinking. How does a team with the Angel's payroll have Brendan Harris starting a game at SS?
snepp Verified Member Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 That's what I was thinking. How does a team with the Angel's payroll have Brendan Harris starting a game at SS? What I wouldn't give to see the infamous Harrischer duo one last time.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Three hits for Harris tonight--book it!
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 What I wouldn't give to see the infamous Harrischer duo one last time. That might even warrant a game thread appearance by Nick!
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 So we have ourselves a challenge tonight - can the Twins "big" FA pickup muster enough to make Brendan Harris sit down looking? Forget hypotheticals with Hicks, we've got a real life showdown of ineptitude to witness tonight!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 That's what I was thinking. How does a team with the Angel's payroll have Brendan Harris starting a game at SS? After Pujols and Hamilton... They only have money left for cheaper backup options.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Looks like Arcia was assigned Jersey #42. Yeah I know... It's a dry sense a humor!!!
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 "Arcia making his debut in left - Willingham feeling a little under the weather" ?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Willingham would have had that ball!!!
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Plenty o' good seats available at TF.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 That started well A man went skydiving for the first time, and after five seconds in the air he pulled the ripcord. Nothing happened. He tried again. Still nothing. He started to panic, but remembered his backup chute and pulled that cord. Nothing happened. Suddenly, he looked down and saw a man going up! Just as the other guy passed by, the skydiver yelled, “Hey, do you know anything about skydiving?” The other guy yelled back, “Heck no! Do you know anything about catching fly balls hit off of Kevin Correia?”
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 That started well When was the last game that the Twins were leading?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 That started well yeah... It was only a solo shot.
glunn Community Moderator Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Plenty o' good seats available at TF. There will be more if the Twins keep falling behind in the early innings and never rallying.
SydneyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 And then KC strikes out Trout and Hamilton. Go figure.

ashbury Verified Member Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 That's nothing to joke about Lemme guess, your uncle died in a skydiving accident. My apologies. If only I could find that delete button...
