RpR Verified Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 The Twins are confused, they are catching up to the Royals in strike outs, they forgot it is supposed to be runs scored.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Correa looks like he’d rather be on another planet if it meant not being on this team. Not that he’s helping at all
twinssporto Verified Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 I forgot I need to do the game thread opener tomorrow...Any suggestions on topics? I think I'm developing writers block about this team. One idea...Maybe just a link to Rick Astley's video and the lineups???

How about Kierkegaard's teleological suspension of the ethical?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 O/U 12.5 pitches in the top of the 9th?
RpR Verified Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Twins will take a 3-2 lead in the ninth and then Baldelli will bring in Duffy.

Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Easy flies and easy ground hops, all night long. Nothing difficult for KC, at all. Unbelievable.
David HK Verified Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Cripes, the Meth Brothers Barlow and Staumont are really cookin' our lineup. It's like Twins hitters had too much sudafed.

Tomorrow is World Creativity and Innovation Day... But don't let that make you feel pressured to be... I dunno... creative or innovative or whatever.

But if this team is out of the picture after the first month of the year yet again, I think it’s fair to start questioning whether him and Levine are the ones to lead us out of the darkness. IMO People need to start aiming their ire towards Falvine rather than Baldelli/hitting coach/3rd base coach/pitching coach.
shortround81 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 I feel like Dick Bremer has reached Jeb Bush's "please clap" level of despair with the lack of offense tonight. I hope Roy gives him a hug

Danchat Verified Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 It pays to have a strong bullpen full of young studs like the Royals do... yet here we are, still waiting for our pitching prospects to develop while trading or letting go our good relievers.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 At least the Twins finished the loss efficiently with that GDP...
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Blech. I'm starting to get the feeling I'll be watching a lot more Brewers games than Twins games as this season progresses...
tarheeltwinsfan Verified Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Rats. This hole is getting deeper and deeper.
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Unbelievable. I just wanted a team that gave me excitement through the summer months. They didn't need to win the world series or even the division. But I just wanted excitement like 2019. Instead, they play a terrible brand of baseball and have me disinterested on April 20th. Until tomorrow, Go Twins

I mean the bullpen didn’t give up a run. It’s the hitting that is so darn anemic
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 Couldn’t have scripted a more appropriate ending to this hellscape of a game: a candy-hop grounder to the third baseman for a 5-4-3 game-ending double play. (Added bonus: hit into by a player the Twins just traded for.)
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2022 Posted April 21, 2022 5 or less hits in 7 of 12 games. Aye chihuahua
