Dobnak to be promoted to Twins

There seems to be some similarity between Smeltzer and Dobnak. 

Just can't put my finger on it...

They had the opportunity after the draft when Kuechel and Kimbrel were available. They had the opportunity to do so at the trade deadline. They didn't.

 

I didn't ask how they should have added payroll.  I asked how they should add payroll now.  It is what it is--the horse is out of the barn; the milk, spilt; the die, cast.  Continuing to snark and complain about roads not taken is no longer interesting or productive.

So did Dobnak ever make any of the top prospect lists? And if you made an updated list where would he rank in just starting pitchers.

I don’t think I’ve seen him in a top 50, I don’t think he was regarded as much of a prospect. He started the year at Fort Myers and is already in the big leagues, which certainly wasn’t expected to happen.
