It's nice and all but unlike Single-A ball, they don't give out playoff berths for winning the first half.  

 

Isn't the point of the game threads anyway to not only make charitable guffaws at the Chief's jokes along with making comments on the game itself?

He's still pitching like it but he's had the luxury of facing the Twins worst hitter in the last month with guys in RISP or high-leverage average or whatever the brainiacs are calling it nowadays in 2 of the first 3 innings.

It’s more making uncharitable guffaws at Chief jokes and commenting on the game.

 

I think Brian was referring to getting to the 2Nd page when the game is barely underway and seeing several comments about Schoop ... that we’ve seen and heard ... but whatever. It’s died down. It’s just not something that needs to be overly belabored.

Sano’s UZR/150 at 3b is -1.4 in 2019 and -2.0 for his career. He has a nice arm, but his range is bad and his hands are so so. That’s probably the logic of why he was tried in the OF.

I don't know. His past few games his defense has been pretty good. The range doesn't look bad at all, but I guess the only way this place will ever accept him is if he hits .350 with 40 homeruns and commits 0 errors.
