It was a couple of days ago, but T. Boone Pickens passed away at 91. He is a controversial figure in energy, though few sunk as much money into wind and solar power...he just passed the projects off before completing them in favor of natural gas. He should be regarded for being one of the founders of a group of wealthy investors that formed a lobby group that eventually forced the "one stock, one vote" policy on Wall Street, something that had not been in place prior to the mid-90s.

Don't want to like this, but agree wholeheartedly. She was a favorite of my vocal teacher at the U of M. Incredibly, when you played recordings of my vocal teacher before her voice was damaged, the two sounded like dead ringers and it's a beautiful sound. Sadly, Norman outlived my vocal teacher.

One of my college teammates once referred to John Witherspoon as the "new Bill Cosby" as the father in multiple African-American movies and shows of influence in the late-1990s/early-2000s like the Friday series and Wayans Brothers. He passed on October 29 at 77.

He's best known as Odo from Star Trek Deep Space Nine and Clayton Endicott on Benson, but also had a number of supporting and voice-over roles such as Chef Louis in The Little Mermaid and Father Mulcahy in the original MASH movie.

Prepping my 2020 list and found that Johnny Clegg died on July 16th at the age of 66.
