Polanco does a Nunez

Played left field, badly?

No, assuming you mean running out of his helmet, I think I saw the same behavior by him a few games ago. I guess it's a thing now.

Wasn't there already a female umpire? May have been in the minors, but I thought that there was one. May still be there for all I know.

Are there robo umpires yet for other sports?

How strict is the definition of robot here? Is the mechanism for determining a touch in fencing a robot?

Another no-doubter homer for the Sox. Could see Gibson mouthing "Wow." I'm uncertain whether he was reacting to the distance the ball went or to his climbing ERA. "That ERA sure got outta there in a hurry."

The bling-neckwear the Sox give to their bashers would be endearing at Cedar Rapids, I suppose.

Thought we would have cruised to a win today way back in that first inning when rodon was on the ropes. Haven’t done much positive stuff since then.

That's been a problem all season, though of one lately. Frustrating.

Very frustrating to have played relatively poorly against the likes of the royals, tigers and White Sox. 21-18 coming into this one. Barely .500 against teams 22 to 50 games below .500. If we can’t finish above .500, we’ll know why

Sano had a nice mini-run there for a few weeks.

His performance this week has been awful, striking out multiple times each game and not getting any hits. Time for someone to pull him aside and remind him to be a singles hitter sometimes. I think those HRs he was hitting last week are still in his head and he needs to stay back on the ball.

OK, so it's official now. No one on this team knows how to play this game.

Molitor needs to be overturning desks in the clubhouse area after the game. Bet he doesn't.

Judging by the last two comments, Gamecast doesn't do that play justice. And I was on the phone, so I didn't get the radio call of it either.

Now I'm very curious though and hope that I can find video of it so that I can join in the disgust fully.

This game is just cruising right along.

Only 2:20 into the game and already completed 6 innings. What's the record for quickest major league game?

It'll be on https://baseball.theater/ soon enough. I hate to totally spoil the surprise for ya. Just to tantalize, though: they had two ChiSox baserunners in the vicinity of third base. Guess how many outs they notched.

They could've made an out at first, second, or third, yet Garver never even threw the ball as the second runner at third slowly jogged back to second or as the runner at second slowly jogged back to first.

If I didn't already know that they didn't score, I would have bet that they got zero outs and both runners somehow scored. So I guess that I at least avoid that level of disappointment.

OH.

MY.

GOD...

Please tell me that I just watched a t-ball game because I can at least accept that outcome as being from a t-ball game.

I'm honestly curious if there are still people that think Molitor should keep his job, and if so, what exactly it is that they think he is doing a good job of? Can't manage a bullpen, team can't run the bases, team makes endless mental errors, team doesn't know how to do a run down, etc, etc, etc
