Taking Santana out with a 3-run lead and just 1 more out to get? Molitor proving he's not a "player's manager" that's for sure. Slap in the face to a team leader who's pitched pretty well.

Uh, I don't think he was pitching very well. He had just given up a run and he's giving up a lot of hits, so I think bringing in Moya was a good idea.

No idea but I enjoyed watching Tyler Austin snag three in the final two innings of Rochester's game in Pawtucket Friday night. Might not be any kind of record but it was a pretty compressed sequence of plays for him.

short version: Cave went caveman on a Duffy pitch for a grand slam.

Erv got pulled early, though it wasn't like he was getting hit hard.

Moya put in an excellent relief appearance.

Duffy has manage to keep his cool, which has been a surprise to all.

I dunno. About 5 of those 7 hits were little flares. I think Santana was running out of gas but I don't think he was on empty just yet. Agree to disagree on this one?
