Game Thread: Twins vs Kansas City, 7/11/18 @ 10:10 AM PT (12:10 PM CT)

[Blake]

FSN KEYS to the game:

Twins hitters need to make contact

Score more runs than the Royals before 27 outs are recorded.

Have to admit, it's pretty funny to see the "Keys to the Game" destroyed in the first inning.

[gocgo]

Not sure if all 3 of those runs are unearned...but they should be.

[Blake]

Fantastic work as usual, Blake. Much appreciated!

You're more than welcome.

Though, I still don't know how RB did it.

Though, by the end of the season, I may be in the same boat as RB!

Well, he made it deeper than Slegers.

At this rate, maybe we will get to see Astudillo pitch

I really hope this doesn't go K, 4-3, P3

[slash129]

There's the K

[yarnivek1972]

If you are going to swing and miss, at least do so hard enough to create a breeze. It’s a tad warm.

[rghrbek]

LoMo adding his value as expected

[slash129]

L-5 is better than 4-3, I guess.

[Mill1634]

Safe

[Mike Sixel]

At what point do you just cut LOMO? Make Cave or Rooker or I don't care whom (ok, I care, not Grossman), the DH?

[slash129]

Need an XBH here

[Mill1634]

JAKE!!!!!!!!!!

[slash129]

Cave!!

[wsnydes]

Nice to see Cave making the most of his opportunities.

[Mill1634]

So, does MLB not have extra umps in the area/at the game? Also, why would they schedule him when his wife is so close to having a child.

Also, BOBBY!!!!!!!!!

[Mike Sixel]

Too early to PH for Wilson?

[mrmpls]

WILSON!!!

[slash129]

Holy Bobby!

[Mike Sixel]

Too early to PH for Wilson?

this aged well....

[mickeymental]

maybe the twins can trade bobby wilson for a hot prospect.

[yarnivek1972]

Morrison and Cave should be flipped in this order.

[Mill1634]

maybe the twins can trade bobby wilson for a hot prospect.

I'm pretty sure they couldn't trade Bobby Wilson for a slow pitch softball pitcher

[yarnivek1972]

Show ‘em you ARE a star Eddie.

[slash129]

this aged well....

Yeah, vinegar for that batch, but you did the reverse jinx!
