Game Thread: Twins vs. Angels 7:10pm CDT 6/8/2018 AD

[jun]

Pressly and Reed again!

[S.]

Couple bombs to tie it back up would be nice.

[TwinsCD]

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

You would have gotten away with it, if it hadn't been for those meddling kids!

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Now the trick to walking off a game is not to get out.

The rest is up to you, Twins.

[Don Walcott]

If we can just get to Rosario this inning, we win.

[S.]

Man, this pitcher is fidgety with his glove hand. Going wild out there

[David HK]

Well, Dick made me feel so much better, announcing the upcoming lineup for the 9th...

"...And Wilson, Adrianza, and Petit off the bench...."

[S.]

Gotta hustle down the line on that. C'mon.

[David HK]

Wow, I have lost count of how many times FoxTrax and the ump disagree tonight.

[Don Walcott]

How many pitches outside the zone have been called strikes tonight? And it seems disproportionate.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

The out look wasn't bright for the mudville 9 that day...

The score stood 4-2 with but one inning left to play...

a little poetic dejavu, this is...

[Mill1634]

Needed that win. Just doesn't seem like our year

[jun]

MoY never understands how to manage the bullpen effectively. I would have gone with Duffey, Magill, Duke and Hildenberger more in high leverage situation these days. Try best not to overuse Duke and Hildenberger while limiting Pressly and Reed to 1 or 2 outs per appearance. Still remember Rosario's 2 intentional walks while Sano batting next? That manager was really smart and well aware that Sano was much less of a threat than Rosario these days.

Rosario, Escobar, and Berrios aside, this team isn't fun to watch and they are not very good.

[David HK]

Seriously, what are Mike Redmond, or Joe Girardi up to these days?

Eric Wedge?

Or better yet--

Ozzie?  What was your # again?
