FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Other than stupidly throwing fastballs to Judge, Santana has been pitching well. Only one or two other hard hit balls.
FattCrapps Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Feels like the Twins are down by 6 runs. Not sure why.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 He has given up 3 runs in his last 14 innings as a Yankee. That's terrible?33 H, 17 BB in 29 1/3 IP1.70 WHIP, although those numbers are surely going to look better after tonight
amjgt Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Stop with the "run the risk of losing your challenge" crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Keeping Garcia wouldn't have done any good, you can't strike out your own teammates. Aggies7, Platoon and David HK 3
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 33 H, 17 BB in 29 1/3 IP1.70 WHIP, although those numbers are surely going to look better after tonightYes it's amazing what a SSS can do to another SSS!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Impossible for Eddie to use two hands catching flies
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Keeping Garcia wouldn't have done any good, you can't strike out your own teammates.IALTO
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Molitor does the "Minnesota nice" on that challenge. Yankees fans might get angry.
David HK Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Tanaka has a 4.73 ERA. Severino has pitched less than 40 games in the majors. Their lineup is not that deep. Bullpen is really good. But they do not even come close to posting the lineup of the Astros or the Indians. Cleveland has a better starting rotation and just as good of a bullpen. I stand by my assertion that the Yanks have no chance to get to the World Series... agree to disagree I guess. That's fine by me!!
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Not so hypothetical question: if Yankees are up 1-0 going to 9th and Garcia is sitting at 18 or 19 K's do they bring him back out?
FattCrapps Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Garcia's not making it out of this inning...BOOK IT!! snepp 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Molitor does the "Minnesota nice" on that challenge.Yankees fans might get angry.Meh, he was safe.
wavedog Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Someone tell the offense it's really Gibson pitching and not Santana and we will get to double digit runs. David HK 1
Darius Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 33 H, 17 BB in 29 1/3 IP1.70 WHIP, although those numbers are surely going to look better after tonightDoesn't count, apparently. He's been masterful since the trade (if you subtract out half of his innings).
TwinsCD Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Feels like the Twins are down by 6 runs. Not sure why. When playing against the Yankees, especially in the Bronx, it feels like they're down 6 even before the first pitch of the game. David HK 1
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Meh, he was safe.Meh, who cares.
amjgt Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Meh, he was safe. No. Twins broadcast showed he was out
DaveW Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Escobar has played every position (including pitcher) besides first base in his career. That's nuts
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 No. Twins broadcast showed he was outI think we're watching two different games
Darius Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Yes it's amazing what a SSS can do to another SSS!You literally just used an even smaller sample size. lol. This guy.

amjgt Verified Member Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Someone tell the offense it's really Gibson pitching and not Santana and we will get to double digit runs. Maybe just have Gibby play some catch in the 'pen
