alskntwnsfn Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 I watched Meija pitch in Spring Training and was very impressed. Hitters couldn't seem to get on his fastball and had a really hard time adjusting to his slider. Here's hoping for another QS today.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 I'll be looking forward to the pic of your seats for things to think about! Yeah, but all the women in her pictures will likely be White Sox fans...
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 This new three hitter isn't any better
alskntwnsfn Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Here's Joe Mauer. He had the day off yesterday but still made $142,000. Good gig, if you can get it.
crapforks Provisional Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Not much discussion about whether or not Mauer has the green light on 3-0
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Hey, great. M&M jacket guy is back. Between looking at that awful thing and Soto's slippery throws to the mound, I might just switch to radio.
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Buxton breathes a sigh of relief as he won't have to strand runner every runner.
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Buxton leads off the 2nd. Will be interesting to see what we can do with two only two outs in the 2nd.
Darius Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 RISP with no outs, and no runs to show for it. That's more like the Twins we all know and love.
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 You guys are a little salty today, I have to say. I guess winning will be an adjustment for everybody.
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Will be interesting to see what we can do with two only two outs in the 2nd. 2 Buxton cheap shots in 2 minutes? Why. One is fine.
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Keeping track of Bert's Mejia pronunciations: 1. Ardleberto Moreno.
alskntwnsfn Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Polanco, on the other hand, has played shortstop every game, came into the game hitting .400, and will make $3,300 for today's work. Baseball is such a crazy game!
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 I blinked and missed that Joe Mauer speed.

sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Bases loaded. No runs. Rome weren't built in a day...
Pardon My Dinger Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 I, for one, am glad that the UMD Flip Cup team has decided to shuffle their truffles elsewhere this afternoon.
mnsportsgeek Provisional Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 2 Buxton cheap shots in 2 minutes? Why. One is fine.Sorry. Low hanging fruit.
Mauerpower Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Kep, Mauer, Castro, Sano, Rosario, Dozier, Polanco, Escobar, buxton. My feeble attempt at creating what I think would be a better lineup today.
akmanak Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Calling it, Buxton gets a double here.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Buxton groundout! Buxton groundout! I am seriously excited to see that. He kinda stung the ball, too.
Mauerpower Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Calling it, Buxton gets a double here. You met Rosario right?
mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 Buxton groundout! Buxton groundout! I am seriously excited to see that. He kinda stung the ball, too. He hit it to hard usually he's safe when the fielder misplays it
