If Buxton batted third the infield would have been playing for the double play his sharp grounder would get to the outfield and the Twins would have had a big first inning, instead the games over in the second inning.  Fire Paul Molitor.

You never run the guy to the advancing base. Always make sure you're taking him to opposite way if you're going to make a run at it like that.

Any well coached 11 year old can tell you that. Awful, awful play.

Today's disaster looks like the Twins I expected this season. Sano holding that ball instead of throwing Garcia out at home is unacceptable. Yesterday he didn't run & now today he makes this boneheaded play, it's time for him to be benched until he learns to play with some energy.

Crappy play, Sano.  Just throw the ball to Castro and take the out.  Frazier's as slow as a dump truck out there, too.  Poor Mejia, rough inning, bad luck.

Nice catch, Mauer!

Tuned in just in time to see that. I don't get how players can bend their necks back and judge a ball like that. I've been told it's sort of like learning to judge where other cars are by looking in the rear view mirror but it's gotta be a difficult skill to learn.

Really fluky outing for Mejia. That 90 pitch Frazier AB, and the awful play by Sano killed him.

The kid's stuff looks great. He could easily be the Twins best starter this year.

Well, hmmm, I chose a fine game to go to. But ... and this is very important ... it ain't over til it's over. AND ... it's just a game.

I was taught that the number one rule of a rundown is that if you don't get the out, don't let the runner advance.

Sano did that rundown so badly, I can hardly tell you. Daddy taught me in 4th grade how to do rundowns. Ball high, wrist back, run hard, stick your fingers at the receiver's eyes. One throw only, or you're doing it wrong. Both fielders close the trap.
