Not a farm kid but grew up in a farming town so I saw my share of the cycle of life, and from what I remember if nature's perfect fertilizer wasn't sticky and at peak olfactory offensiveness, then it was too dry and past its prime. But future mayor Goldie Wilson did a nice acting job to sell the smell.

 

And it's another nice metaphor for the 2016 Twins...
