I predict the D.R. will be less and less of a SS factory as time goes by. 

 

The reason... Better field conditions. MLB teams are putting money in and building decent facilities. 

 

The D.R. baseball fields used to be in horrible shape... Shortstops used to have to learn field tough bounces off rocks.
