I'm seeing the athleticism of the NBA. And I've never appreciated the nuanced approach to the service. Play by play guy compared one Aaron Russell to Tim Wakefield. I can dig it.

Well, I only saw the beach stuff.....not sure which you want to discuss.

 

Their ability to dive on the ground, jump back up, and hit the bleep out of the ball shows some amazing athleticism to me.

The 'Libero' as it is called, is not allowed to send the ball over the net. So you gotta keep an eye on that sneaky little son of a gun.

 

I still have a hard time with the libero, scoring on side outs and allowing the served ball to hit the net.

 

Those were huge changes, that's like if baseball not only enacted the DH, but also gave runs to the defense for getting an out AND counted a foul ball as a strike three!

Only been a fan for a week or so now, so I don't know what in the hell you're saying. But, you sure sound good saying it!

My dad was a volleyball coach in the day, it runs in my blood.

 

Stupid doctor said there's no such vaccine and I should stop bugging him about it though.

Sounds to me like you've got a fever, and the only prescription is more volleyball. Man, I know the feeling, let me tell you.
