roger Verified Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Seth, do you see Jay moving to the bullpen to keep him pitching while conserving innings? If so, do you see him moving up to Chattanooga? Enjoy your holiday!
dbminn Verified Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 A great day for the Twins' top pitching prospects. Hopefully, Berrios is up by the end of July. What is the expected innings limit for Jay this year? gunnarthor 1
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Have to think Berrios is up after the break. Also really nice to see Stewart adjust to AA hitters. nyazbeck 1
beckmt Verified Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 More likely to see Berrios up after the break and Milone DFAed. nyazbeck 1
nyazbeck Provisional Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 Berrios should make his next start Friday for Rochester if all goes well he should be brought up then
tobi0040 Verified Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 No reason Berrios should throw another pitch down there. And barring multiple 2 inning starts he should finish out the year with the Twins.
Major League Ready Verified Member Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 It would sure be nice if something went right and Nolasco and/or Santana are great this month and one of them is traded by the deadline. For that matter, it would be just fine if they both got traded. Berrios would be here to stay. As long as I am wishing, let's hope they get a nice return on Nunez and Polanco gets a chance. bird 1

If so, do you see him moving up to Chattanooga? Enjoy your holiday! That's kind of been my thought all along, that they would likely have him start until they think he's far enough and then move him up to Chattanooga to pitch out of the bullpen. That could still happen. Or, they could have him skip another start or something, or limit his pitches, stuff like that.
Kyle DeBarge Wichita Wind Surge - AA 2B/CF On Sunday, DeBarge went 3-for-3 with a walk and a double. It was his second multi-hit game in his past three games. Explore Kyle DeBarge News >
