Jepsen needs some DL time.

"Dear Kevin, get well soon-ish!"

IDK, after D-Sans 5 IP  10 H and 5 R, I don't think there's much to complain about being down by only 1 run at this point.

Then there's Jepsen.  And the skunk...

[USAFChief]

Jepsen has appeared in 29 games so far this season. He's put guys on base in 26 of them.

Huh.  I'da guessed he had been less successful than that.

[LaBombo]

Arcia laid off of Salas' 54 footer, but the 58 footer was too tempting.

Baby steps.

Will Rosario ever reclaim LF again?

[LaBombo]

Huh.  I'da guessed he had been less successful than that.

Wonder how many of those 3 clean innings were save ops...

[HitInAPinch]

Will Rosario ever reclaim LF again?

yes

[John Kelsey]

The results don't show it, but Kepler has had some good at-bats the past few games.

What'd I miss?

[USAFChief]

What'd I miss?

RB played tonight.  Far as we know, he went 0 for 1.

He'll probably be in the mix but not the guy the rest of this year, and then have to face a bit of competition when the Twins have their inevitable Small Sample Position Rush next spring...

What'd I miss?

Sano is still on the DL.

[glunn]

What'd I miss?

Two mediocre teams playing poorly.

[John Kelsey]

My eyes saw a fly out to right, but my ears heard Dick Bremer calling a deep home run to right.

[Squirrel]

I was playing tennis ... then had a closet to clean out ... kinda sorta am listening in the background, but difficult when the TV is in one room and the closet in another.

[USAFChief]

What'd I miss?

Generallisimo Francisco Franco is still dead.

[John Kelsey]

What'd I miss?

A chance to go to bed.

[Squirrel]

Two mediocre teams playing poorly.

Oh, and here I thought it was two poor teams playing mediocrely.

[John Kelsey]

What'd I miss?

More bats than Ervin Santana.

[USAFChief]

winner.

Too much to do. Carpet installers coming Friday ... have to get stuff a bit cleaned out. My guest room closet is a nice-sized walk-in ... and perfect as a storage room. But over the years it's just been easy to 'store things' in there and now I'm going through everything and getting rid of stuff.

[LaBombo]

What'd I miss?

Jepsen pitched, but failed once again to set the MLB record for earned runs surrendered without recording an out.

You need to come out of the closet!

[HitInAPinch]

Breaking ball very low, very outside.  OK, Buxton still has some work to do...

[Squirrel]

I guess smart alecks don't sleep as that's all who's left here.

Well, as I stepped away, it seems as though we survived a Jepsen inning.

[LaBombo]

What'd I miss?

GiovanniRibisi went 2-4 with a home run and saw his 2016 OPS vs the Twins fall to 1.667

Not me.  But since you brought it up...

So, they're settin' you up with that sweet burnt-orange shag, eh?  Or did you go with the avocado?
