FunnyPenguin Provisional Member Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 (edited) These days, Weaver looks like someone that would be pitching for us. And unfortunately for him, I don't mean that in a good way. Fortunately for us, it works out just fine.No No, he has one fatal flaw that the Twins would despise, he's striking some guys out. Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2016 Author Posted June 14, 2016 Fastest I've ever gone on two wheels: 115 mph. Fastest I've ever gone on 4 wheels: 125 mph. I prefer the 125 mph on 4 wheels. 115 on a motorcycle is a little hairy. A motorcycle that you have to shave. Must be quite the conversation piece when you roll into Sturgis with that. John Kelsey Verified Member Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 I'd like to see some numbers on the amount of Buxton's at-bats that have started with an 0-2 count. Has to be over 50%, right?

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2016 Author Posted June 14, 2016 I'm wondering what inning my chin hits my chest and I throw my head back up and say "I'm awake" and my wife says... "Sure You Are"

I don't think anything hairy would be in the least out of place in Sturgis... I think I need to wash now, after I typed this... Platoon and Riverbrian 2

Don Walcott Verified Member Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 To stay more topical, beer. Lots of beer. This sounded like a quote from one of my favorite movies, Beerfest. The line is delivered by one of the writers/actors of the Broken Lizard group, Erik Stolhanske. He was a high school classmate of mine at Breck. True story. Riverbrian 1
Blake Verified Member Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 I think I hit 85 once... Might have reached 86 or 87 but my wife noticed the speedometer and that was the end of that. My wife was with me when I did 125. She would have been okay if I'd have gone even faster. Of course, the car was set up to do around 150+ so there's that. Riverbrian 1
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2016 Author Posted June 14, 2016 Just want to say that there wasn't one rookie involved in that run down. Our Vets pulled that gem out of that... whatever it was.

True story: I was riding along and took a cattle prod to the shoulder. Actually, it turned out I was stung by a wasp. The wasp somehow got inside my leather jacket. I was not happy. /true story. I tipped a big Honda Gold Wing at a stop light in Blaine Minnesota. Waiting for the light to change and it just starting tipping over. I was around 16 and I couldn't get it back up. My brother in law just said... "sure take it for a spin if you'd like". The Drivers behind me... were not happy. Blake and David HK 2
