Blake Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Rosario!! All is forgiven..until your next strikeout.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Jeez, I just got home and seen the lineup? Poor Paul might need to be checked out soon. He's already benching our young guys? What purpose does this do after 4 games? Santana makes the lineup after striking out twice on pitches 2 and 5 feet in front of the plate?Sitting Sano and/or Buxton for a game if you feel they need to get their head straight isn't the worst idea ever presented. Both have looked lost, giving them a day to reflect could help them. But not as punishment.

If you have not read this and you are inclined to detract from the objective of this thread (fun) then be prepared to take a day off from TD.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 There's the Rosario I know and love.
big dog Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Kennedy is really getting movement on his pitches tonight. Hopefully it moves into a bat a few times.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I totally get why everybody on the Twins loves Rosario. The kid is a straight-up gamer. I just wish he was slightly better at hitting a baseball... Or maybe more accurately, not swinging at a baseball.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I have to say, not being able to see these games seeks like a blessing so far. Just hiked in 65 degree weather, mt Rainer looming....
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 heh, just realized 3/5 of the Royals rotation are former... Padres.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Anyone know of a twins forum where unhappy fans are welcome? I mean, jeeze, I get it. No one wants to read negativity, especially "the worst team ever" stuff, post after post. But here we have a team with actual positive expectations and they come out of the gate and lose their first four, they've scored 9 runs, they're on pace to shatter the franchise record for strikeouts, have blown two late leads and seem to be floundering as much as a team can 5 games in. I like to joke on here along with everyone else, but all opinions should be welcome unless personal attacks are made.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Prediction--The Twins will score multiple runs this inning.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2016 Author Posted April 10, 2016 Twins fans: "I can't believe this bum Kennedy is shutting us down. Go Tommy Milone!' Royals fans: "I can't believe this soft throwing bum Tommy Milone is shutting us down. Our new $70 million dollar pitcher Kennedy as advertised!"

This is where the most posters are.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Good gracious Gordon had that ball before Trevor was even at first.

SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2016 Author Posted April 10, 2016 Ooooo Oswaldo was trying to be put that 2-0 pitch 500 feet away.

SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 10, 2016 Author Posted April 10, 2016 That was a really nice AB from Arcia until that swing and miss.

I like to joke on here along with everyone else, but all opinions should be welcome unless personal attacks are made. It's a decision we make based on not only what's good for the site but also what we *want* to read. There's a forum thread that was titled "the bullpen sucks". We changed the name but the content is still there. Unhappiness is fine but bitching and moaning about every pitch, at-bat, and in-game move is boring and frankly, it's Internet masturbation. The only person receiving gratification from the post is the poster. It's that simple.

ttreadway Verified Member Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 I like Arcia personally. I think his attitude is a breath of fresh air on this team. At least he shows that he's upset when he lets his team down and strikes out with runner on and two outs. I'm tired of this attitude where it doesn't seem like half the team even cares when they strike out.
