Game Thread: Twins @ Royals 4/9 7:15PM

[SwainZag]

Fien getting crushed.

[Intramural Legend]

That looked more painful than a cramp.  Guesses on who comes up?

[sampleSizeOfOne]

5-0

The Regals ahead of the Bituplets in the 6th. The ball has left the um, ball room.

CozyBananaUpDate...

What all i miss?

[Blake]

Buxton batting second?

[SwainZag]

"Santana was viewed as being a key guy.........." Yeah you lost me right there Dick.

[howeda7]

Welcome back to the bigs Max Kepler...

[alarp33]

Might be the best thing that's happened to the Twins this year. Molitor can't hit him 2nd if he's on the DL

[Blake]

Pfft, youngsters..Santana hurt himself running. Heck, I can do that getting out of bed in the morning.

[SwainZag]

Welcome back to the bigs Max Kepler...

I would predict the odds of Kepler being brought up if Danny has to go to the DL are very, very slim at this point.

[Aggies7]

Perhaps we have to hit rock bottom before it gets better. They say it gets better.

[howeda7]

Why? We need to see what that Mastro kid has? He should be the choice.

Unless, you can have a middle of the night cramp, I suggest you quit bragging

[Primetime82]

Terry Ryan is still a believer in rebound years from 30 plus year old relievers???

[alarp33]

Now if Fien just gets whiplash after the next rocket he gives up the roster will be set!

[OrangeKicks]

You must be new to the Twins. What should happen and what will happen is a HUGE distinction.

define "rock bottom"

[TheLeviathan]

Is Ryan Pressley a real person?  Or Michael Tonkin?  Or are they Casey Fien aliases used for job security?

I imagine every time Molitor calls down there those guys aren't around, but only Fien.

I have no other explanation for why Fien is pitching.

Well the one named Pressley is actually pitching good, so probably isn't Fien.

[Intramural Legend]

comedy of errors out there right now

[TheLeviathan]

RF defense doesn't matter.

So I'm told.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

At least Arcia looks good in right

[zchrz]

Arcia pulling a Delmon

Is a back flop better or worse than a belly flop?!?

[Ultima Ratio]

Ball bouncing over Arcia's "slide/block"

Royals' announcers: "Nice attempt by Arcia"

Presley threw yesterday.  It was the 5th inning of a game that was headed towards a blowout.  Even if Fien pitched well, he wasn't going more than 5-6 outs.  Still leaves room for Tonkin to get in some work.

[Hosken Bombo Disco]

Just for the record: Danny Santana, infielder by trade, left the game after hurting himself playing outfield.

You may resume your joviality

[Darius]

Before or after Boof Bonser is signed to a AAA contract?

AAA contract? Who is going to block Gonsalves until they can turn him into a bad pitcher?

[DrNeau]

This team better get their ears chewed tonight after this game. Something has to give. Molitor needs to spit some serious fire.

[Blake]

Wow, that was ugly.

[Ultima Ratio]

Does anyone else feel a rally, or is that just my indigestion?
