jimmer Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 according to the KC announcers, Twins have never started 0-5. So, there you have it, a win today is in the bag!
Blake Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 "A loyal friend is someone who will laugh at your jokes when they're not so good, and sympathize with your problems when they're not so bad." Chief's got a lot of loyal friends here, and rightly so. In my case it's because we're both grumpy old men.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Maybe my patience is a fault, but there is literally nothing Sanó or Buxton could have done through FOUR games that would have made me say, "Yeah, they need to take a seat." I don't think this is any form of a punishment or message. Its just playing with the rosters early in the season to make sure everyone is getting back into the swing of MLB
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 Damn that was a nasty pitch to Joe.
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Kennedy looks pumped up and nasty so far.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I'm feeling a 4 run inning at some point today. IT has to happen one of these times!
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I'm going to guess how many times the Twins will strike out today... let's see... I'll go with 13.
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 I'm feeling a 4 run inning at some point today. IT has to happen one of these times! which team?
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Milone has two pitches, really. And his fastball sits below 90.
Reider Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Watching Twins players swing and miss fast balls over the plate is frustrating.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 You know, as much as we all scratch our heads over the lineup, the Royals have Alcides Escobar leading off on a regular basis. He of a .298 career OBP.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Oh great, the wind is blowing mist in front of the cameras today. Frikkin Kaufman.
Platoon Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Oops, I am Mountain time, so I converted to Eastern Time for some reason. Mike was having the same problem early in the week. I sent him a helpful hint.
Platoon Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Every team, including the Jays, will have 2 or 3 guys who should probably bat 9th. So if you have great hitters, and all could hit first, does that mean the other 8 should all hit 9th? Math always confuses me!
Blake Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Oswaldo will now give a demonstration of a professional at bat.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2016 Author Posted April 9, 2016 Man he just grooved that fastball to Park.
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 At least EE is up next inning! Good things are coming!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Twins pitchers miss spots: extra base hitsOpponent pitchers miss spots: weak rollers to the infield The strikeout stuff is comical at this point.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Does Arcia understand foul rules?
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Does Arcia understand foul rules?Cut him some slack. This is his first baseball game in 874 days.
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 We get it - you don't like the Twins this year. Sports should be enjoyable. Watching three pitch strikeouts of our big free agent i cannot enjoy..sorry
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Watching three pitch strikeouts of our big free agent i cannot enjoy..sorry Then quit watching and let the rest of us enjoy the game thread
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Well, Milone's doing his job very well so far. Can't say the same for the offense.
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 ignore me pal not too hard to doOr you can reel it back a bit. Did you read the second post of this thread?
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Well, Milone's doing his job very well so far. Can't say the same for the offense.Seems like a trend
Primetime82 Verified Member Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Jeez, I just got home and seen the lineup? Poor Paul might need to be checked out soon. He's already benching our young guys? What purpose does this do after 4 games? Santana makes the lineup after striking out twice on pitches 2 and 5 feet in front of the plate?
