Berrios, Vargas headline this bunch reassigned or optioned to the minors

Guess Burdi isn't coming to MN soon, or Meyer......but I'm sure that at some point, high upside young players will get a chance in MN.......maybe.

 

Do we know where that list is going? That was not clear to me.

And here I thought Berrios was in a rotation battle? On a more serious note, I wonder what the demotion of Burdi does to the Twins plans for increasing BP velocity?

Seems a bit pessimistic Mike.  Just b/c he didn't make the team out of ST doesn't mean we won't see Burdi soon.  And the Twins sure have let a bunch of "high upside young players" get a chance.

While I agree that there isn't much of a problem if some of these guys are up in a month, I don't know that they were given much of a chance, I don't think Burdi pitched like he clearly needed to be sent down.
