So Willingham has hit Porcello to a 1.625 OPS and you rest him but play him against Verlander who he's hit to .472 OPS.

I'll probably be able to name all 50 of the greatest Twins players by memory after this series is over.

Either stop or run him over, joe

Just miserably bad base running from the Twins, thrown out twice in a row at home. If the catcher is blocking the plate, RAIL HIM. These guys could take a few lessons from Pierzynski.

Mastroianni and Doz have no business ever trying to run into anything.

Is dozier that slow? How is he thrown out at home on a soft single with 2 outs?

I am recording this game on DVR. It sounds like I will be cursing the screen again tonight.

I didn't notice Dozier's turn. I did notice that Raburn was very shallow. By the time the ump called Dozier out Raburn was in the infield.

Six hits and one walk in 3 innings, yet only one run to show for it. The baserunning must be terrible today.

Both plays put pressure on a shaky Tiger defense. The Tigers executed perfectly on both plays. I don't fault Liddle for sending either guy. I'm upset that they aren't ahead 3-0 or more with their opportunities.

Good first trip through the lineup for Diamond. Hope he can keep this up.

I don't fault them much for the putouts at the plate. Each time it was close and required a perfect throw. 2 out of 3 times at least 1 would get in.

At least we are hitting porcello. runs should come if that keeps up.

They were making a big deal that he'd allowed only 1 run in 20 innings.

You will enjoy the bunt play. Totally ironic that Laird got leveled by his own player after standing tall for two home plate tags.

I get sad everytime I was Porcello pitch. I watched a high school game of his and it was some Josh Beckett type stuff, mid-90's with a crazy cruve. Now he's pretty much Jon Garland.

Oh what could have been...

I will look forward to that.

Did you guys see the botched bunt/botched catch by the Tigers??!! WTH? That was a fair ball.

Sure thought it was a fair ball.

Meanwhile more interesting plays in the infield. Span gets one off Porcello's glove for an RBI infield single.

The difference is Fielder's weighs more than the two Twins runners combined.

Watching the balls and strikes on the internet, it looks like the home plate ump has a very small strike zone today. Is that true?
