Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Oh great … Indian announcers just said … ' … trying to wreck Minnesota's hopes … even more than they've wrecked them themselves …' Or something like that. Hosken Bombo Disco 1
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 I'd say it looks like the Twins left their bats in Toronto, but that would imply they actually had their bats in Toronto. ScrapTheNickname 1
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 Twins need a leadoff hitter so Dozier can move down in the lineup and one bat that just kills to put in the 3 spot. Santana would have been great in the lead off spot if he wasn't busy not being great for the lead off spot this year. Buxton eventually... I assume. For the 3 spot... Gonna have to find him. Somewhere. I could live with and I think the Twins could also live with 1. Leadoff guy who gets on base and runs like a fast thing. 2. Mauer3. Big Scary guy who hits the crap out of the Ball4. Sano5. Dozier6. Hunter/Plouffe whoever plays a position that the Big Scary guy doesn't play7. Rosario8. Catcher who gets the most out of the rotation. 9. Hicks/Escobar whoever plays a position that the guy who gets on base and runs like a fast thing doesn't. glunn 1
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Bunt? Indians love their pitcher, respect pelfrey, or not respect our offense. I'll say the last one.I say "Thank you, Tito!". Riverbrian 1
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 How many times have we seen a player make a routine play on defense to end an inning, and then come up first to bat and ... make a routine out? Hosken Bombo Disco and Riverbrian 2

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 I'd rewind and look at the pitch sequence but I figured that FSN would do it for us. But... Apparently not. Hosken Bombo Disco 1
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 That Escobar single will make the MLB Quick Pitch Highlights because they love the umpire confusion on the pitch count to add any drama they can find. glunn and Hosken Bombo Disco 2

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Author Posted August 8, 2015 Which may not have happened if the Jackson 5 remained 5. Okay, so it wasn't Tito who left the band, but just sayin' Tito was much maligned by his father. The guy was actually a pretty decent guitar player but his father never let him play on any of the Jackson 5 records. They brought in studio musicians. And his father didn't let him sing much either. So he just kinda wore matching suits with the rest and tried to look like he was doing something. glunn 1
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 This getting runners on and then driving them in could be a thing.yeah, I'll believe it if it happens more than once every two weeks or so. Riverbrian and glunn 2
