Now there's a movie i should know better than i do. In fact several bits, if i recall, hinge seriously on confusion regarding units...Er... is that a tie game i see before me?

Busy doin' stuff this AM, but just tuned into the game, hearing the feed in the background.  Wow- there were some loud shots off of Mr. May--  just turned around in time to see that HR clear the fence.  Aw, shucks, 4-0 lead...  The Jays have a way of making those go away, don't they?

This is true, but to continue where i was going before i was so rudely interrupted by that homerun...

 

Stone Hinge is directly unit based confusion. And it goes up to 11.

 

And somewhere in the movie there's cheese, right?

 

Long story short, I need to watch it again... (I thought i had a criterion version of it, but it turned out to be missing a disc)

An inning late but.........Danny reached on the error, but he just looks terrible at the plate.  It was a bad pitch and a terrible swing.

Well, ya know, guys, I hate to say the obvious, but they can't win this game until they take the lead. (I suppose the same applies to us - sadly). But they haven't done that yet, so I'm not giving up yet.

yes... we should have a movie night or something ...

 

There is also the scene where the band shows up at an Air Force base and the lieutenant tells them he wants the show to start at 1900 hours, and tells them it's currently 1830 hours, so the band thinks they have 70 hours to get set up...
