Never had lutefisk in my life. Not that I wouldn't try it if I could. Would probably like it. And my face would probably resemble my current face (scrunched and streaky with a kleenix on duty).

Molitor, another by the book manager. Good grief, really? Pull Robinson, who is currently hitting, because you want the lefty/righty matchup, for Escobar with his .176 average? 

 

Numbers and matchups are all well and good, but don't any managers ever go with the hot hand?

 

Here's novel thought: Leave in Robinson, then put Escobar in for Santana.

 

Granted, blowing the lead like that shouldn't have happened, but the last bit of management looked like making moves just to make moves.

I hope the Cubs don't mess Russell up by having him play 2B.  He has less than 10 games at 2B in the minors and he looks shaky there.  He looks very good at shortstop. They need to trade Castro if they can (and even with that contract, they should be able to) or move him to 2B since he's shaky at SS
