formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 There is drama in lutefisk. Dontchaknow.Never had lutefisk in my life. Not that I wouldn't try it if I could. Would probably like it. And my face would probably resemble my current face (scrunched and streaky with a kleenix on duty).
formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 oh, I'm a loser, babyso why dontcha kill me?Cause we need ya to loose again tomorrow.
Platoon Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I'll accentuate the WAS in that sentence. If this is from some movie, I don't recognize it.. Song, "werewolf in London.
Blake Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Molitor, another by the book manager. Good grief, really? Pull Robinson, who is currently hitting, because you want the lefty/righty matchup, for Escobar with his .176 average? Numbers and matchups are all well and good, but don't any managers ever go with the hot hand? Here's novel thought: Leave in Robinson, then put Escobar in for Santana. Granted, blowing the lead like that shouldn't have happened, but the last bit of management looked like making moves just to make moves.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 oh, I'm a loser, baby so why dontcha kill me? That gets the mood pretty good (and i can even understand that bit of spanish). My thoughts earlier were along the lines "one, two, three strikes you're out at the old ball game" has a certain significance...
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Well, crap. And the Predators just took the lead. More heartburn.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 but the last bit of management looked like making moves just to make moves. What else do they hire the manager to do?
Platoon Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Well played.I actually have 3 different batches in various stages of fermentation at the moment. That plus several different styles already completed and drinkable. I might need to switch to the double IPA to deal with this game.. Hmm, that sounds like to much beer for you to drink all alone!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 What else do they hire the manager to do?Not make moves just to not make moves.
Platoon Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Would our center fielder have caught that?. Which one are you talking about? Wait, it would not make any difference! NO!
formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 What else do they hire the manager to do?Well, they ain't called movers at any rate. Those guys drive big trucks and vandalize furniture.Though you could argue that managers do the same.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Not make moves just to not make moves. How will he know when he's done?
formerly33 Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 How will he know when he's done? When he's fired?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 Abandon hope, all ye who enter here lacking cultural literacy. / or teh googlez Yes. My ally is teh googlez, and a powerful ally it is. I shall face my cultural illiteracy unDante'd. Sorry the response was so late... And the Wild are kind enough to offset the games by an hour tomorrow.
jimmer Verified Member Posted April 22, 2015 Posted April 22, 2015 I hope the Cubs don't mess Russell up by having him play 2B. He has less than 10 games at 2B in the minors and he looks shaky there. He looks very good at shortstop. They need to trade Castro if they can (and even with that contract, they should be able to) or move him to 2B since he's shaky at SS
