When people were throwing out the KC references the first name that popped into my mind was Kevin Correia, which both scared me and made me sad.    So many players the last few years that I have tried to repress, but you never really do forget them.

I thought Santana should have charged that first grounder instead of letting Dozier come across the bag. Great play by Dozier on that other at bat. You could argue this was another 5-out inning......

 Twins look competitive.  Trevor May looks like he belongs.

Potential DP that ended up getting no outs on it. Dozier dives for the ball, flips it out of his glove to Santana at 2nd, who bare hands it and leaps over the sliding runner to first. Santana leapt off the bag before he had control of the ball and Mauer didn't handle the throw. Bases now loaded and next batter sac flies.

Loading the bases with balls that either never left the infield, or barely left it, followed by a sac fly.

Someone might have been paying closer attention than i, but...

 

Runners on first and second, one out.

 

Bouncer up the middle, second base side.  Dozier dives and gloves it, flips directly from glove to second.  Santana catches it barehanded as he comes off the bag, (throw drawing him off, but it was very close and could possibly have been overturned) and throws it in the dirt to first. Mauer doesn't catch it cleanly, but pounces on it to keep the runner at third.
