Not only was I able to put down the Twins lineup without looking (not really too hard to do), I was able to do the same with the Red Sox lineup up to Leon (also not really that hard to do) but that is way more familiarity with the Red Sox with which I am comfortable. Another beautiful day in Fort Myers; looking good for a ST finale ... clear, sunny, 81 degrees. 

 

Now is the time to shake off all your game thread rust. Looking forward to our opening day starter ... RiverBrian. His thoughts are building to bursting so hope you will be able to join us on Monday. And don't forget ... it's never too late to PM Chief to sign up to start a game thread at any time during the season. I think most April dates are covered, but it's not too soon to be thinking about May! (Both the month and the pitcher!)

Aren't there 15 in each the cactus and grapefruit leagues?  The difference is the cactus league is more compact.  Wonder how often the Dodgers and White Sox play? (or other teams who share facilities)

3-6-1 Double play erases the errant Plouffe throw to start the game and end that half the inning, sandwiching a long fly ball to hunter.

I've got a hunch Gibson will be working on something today in his last tune up, so may get hit around a bit.  Same thing could be true for the other side though.
