Arcia in a 3-0 count

Favorite part of the article was the description following Swing 9:

"Bad, bad swing. Bad swing! Almost certainly ball four. The day after taking his best 3-0 cut of the year, Arcia took his worst. Chris Tillman almost looks like he’s upset with Arcia after the swing, but I think he was just shocked. Two outs, runners on first and third, early, in a 0-0 game. Twins had a chance to blow this one open. Bases would’ve been juiced had Arcia left the bat on his shoulder. Instead, he swung and gave Tillman the baseball equivalent of a cute little puppy on Christmas morning."

I wonder if he took a tax deduction for charitable contribution for that gift...

coached a team once. Tie score. Bases loaded, 2 outs in bottom of the last inning.  On a 3-2 count, my batter swung at ball 4 (over his head.) Games goes into extras and we lose by 1 run.

Just for contrast, I had to look this up- in 5 plate appearances with a 3-0 count last season, Drew Butera was 0-0 with 5 walks, 1 of them intentional. So, there's that.
