My mind is not as sharp as it used to be (and it was never really overly-sharp to begin with) - I forgot Valencia was now with the Royals.

Is it still bitter to say, "hey, I forgot you were even still in the majors," when he gets an RBI late in a 10-2 game?

Are those leaves painted on or did they blow in from the balcony?

Heh ... a friend of mine actually suggested I use real leaves and decoupage them on. I might be interested in trying fun craft projects from time to time .... but no way was I going to decoupage real leaves onto my walls.

Center field, left field, first base... what position can this man not play?

That sounds like a good start to the list...

I can't remember the last time I decoupaged!!!

Yes. We would also have accepted, "center field". Carol Merrill will present you with the Home Version of the game on your way out.

Thanks for the Mauer info. He has been playing better lately and it will be a shame if this is serious.

Do we schedule TJ now, or later?

Wait... Yes I do... Three weeks ago... I accidentally glued my forehead to a freshly painted table while getting a whiff of the paint.

That counts... I'm a decoupager.

Am I the only one who had to Google the definition of "decoupage"?

Nice job with the painting.

I think that you need 3 people to do that.

I have to agree with Bark - tapioca is bad. It's definitely the 60-day day-to-day list.

I did. There must be a dirty word that sounds like it.

He gave me some of the best laughs of my life, watching my kids enjoy him.

I met him once... He could barely see three feet in front of his face... He was so wasted.

I said Hello to him and he thought it was funny and laughed and laughed. So I started laughing because he was laughing and soon everyone was laughing until we were crying and all I said was Hello... Pleasure to meet you.

Comic genius tho.

Maybe the right three people...

Hey, I saw him play CF and he looked pretty good. As long as we continue to make deals with the opposition to only hit routine stuff his way when he's out there we should be OK.

No. Other TD posters enjoy your privilege of not being constantly being stalked by death...

He graduated from the same high school I graduated from. He was about 8 years older than me, but my good friend's brothers went to school with him. He was funny then also and from our neighborhood.

There is not so much pride I take from where I grew up, but Hedberg was about as funny as it gets from my perspective.

What has it been - about 9 years since he has passed? I remember that being a sullen day. There are many great comedians, but I do not think any of them has bestowed upon me the laughter and greatness that was Mitch Hedberg.

Never forget that you are a lucky man, and to duck when it is appropriate...

Rice is great if you want to eat 2,000 of something.

That is genius

I wanna hang a map of the world in my house. Then I'm gonna put pins into all the locations that I've traveled to. But first, I'm gonna have to travel to the top two corners of the map, so it won't fall down.
