LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 I was bracing myself for Perk allowing a hit or two and a runner in scoring position. I am not sure I am able to process him striking out the side without any drama. And on ten pitches. Nice to see him not offer up another tribute to Electrocardiogram Eddie.

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Both coming back on the same day? Just thought it'd be nice to keep Polanco until the 2nd one is ready. (And yes, GCTF, I do realize how far-fetched that is ... just ... making hopes out loud.) Mike Berardino @MikeBerardino 8m #mntwins are expected to activate Plouffe, Nunez off DL Monday. Florimon seems certain to be optioned, but Polanco has given them a dilemma.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I kind of liked the starting lineup today before the game, I liked the late inning substitutions, and I loved the end result.

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I agree, but wonder who deserves to be brought up. I'd let Parmelee play in the OF. Seems to me that you could accomplish his when someone comes off the DL.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 I'd let Parmelee play in the OF. I'm not sure this CF's bat will play in right field. And even with the praise, it seems like a 10-pitch 3-strikeout deserves another shoutout. If we did offer to trade him, wonder what another team would give to have him.
gil4 Verified Member Posted June 30, 2014 Posted June 30, 2014 Jorge Polanco. He's starting today in place of the incumbent shortstop Pedro Florimon, who was starting in place of Danny Santana, who was starting in place of Eduardo Escobar, who was starting in place of, oh, who even remembers? JJ HARDY Grrr. Reaching for blood pressure meds. I know, there were a couple of forgettable alternatives in between there, too, and one unforgettable total bust from Japan. But JJ Hardy is my answer and I'm sticking to it.

I think the right thing to do is Plouffe to 3B, Escobar to SS, Nunez to utility, and Polanco sent down. Who is playing SS in AA?
