Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 My wife wasn't planning any trips, and doesn't read TD, and somehow she's already on her way. Chief and I are also coming. You might as well start shopping now.
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Atta Boy... Set Up and the Space to drive through in a game thread is perfectly played. Thanks, I've been working on it. Next step is not taking credit for someone else's joke ex post facto.
longstrangetrip Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 That might have been the greatest way to cross the plate in the history of baseball!Danny Ford wants you to give him a call, dog...
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Oswaldo Arcia: fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, won't get.. Won't get fooled again (looked bad on two curveballs then lined the third curveball for base hit)
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I thought about specifying which city in Virginia, but I was worried I'd deprive someone of a joke like this You set 'em on the tee. I take a whack.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Did Willingham just do a somersault slide into home? More like half somerault and half Dizzy Izzy wipeout. Blaming Brewer roadblock. http://media.dma.mil/2011/Jul/29/148106/600/400/0/110729-M-0000M-008.jpg
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 Arcia with a rope RBI single to right, scoring Hammer from second, who was safe but it didn't matter because the HP ump called interference on the catcher for coming up the line to field the throw. phew...that's a lot to type quickly with just two fingers. It was better than that. It was the Pitcher... Just la de da-ing across the baseline into Willingham.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 This is so great. I miss watching this team kick burro. ftfy
big dog Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 It was better than that. It was the Pitcher... Just la de da-ing across the baseline into Willingham. That's totally understandable, given that Willi is both tiny and fast. It must be hard to keep track of where he is at any time.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Chief and I are also coming. You might as well start shopping now. I'm all in, anytime.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Less meaningful version of that saying: When it pours, it's raining. That one goes right into my plagiar^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hquote file.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 Thanks, I've been working on it. Next step is not taking credit for someone else's joke ex post facto. Actually joke theft Is strongly encouraged.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 What has two hundreds arms, 8 teeth, and smells really bad? How is a tornado like a Kentucky divorce? I profess complete ignorance on both subjects (excepting a poem i once heard about "how to tell a tornado") but in the "every part of the buffalo" spirit, i surmise that the answer to the first question is acceptable grounds for both the items listed in the second question. (Am still trying to come up with a more succinct way of saying that. Now i admit defeat...)
Beezer07 Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 That's totally understandable, given that Willi is both tiny and fast. It must be hard to keep track of where he is at any time. Willingham is quite catlike. In that cats would also be pretty slow running the bases.

Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Seeing Escobar make that play at short, it seems baffling that Gardy wanted Florimon as his starter.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Oh crap. I hate two out walks, hits ... anything that puts a runner on with 2 outs

Fatt Crapps Provisional Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Oh crap. I hate two out walks, hits ... anything that puts a runner on with 2 outs I don't like when the other team hits homeruns. That always grinds my gears.

ashbury Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 It was better than that. It was the Pitcher... Just la de da-ing across the baseline into Willingham. You know what the Brewers have on their team? Lollygaggers!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 How to tell a tornado what? That it has bad breath? Tell meaning identification, rather than communication. (As in tell a curve ball from a fast ball) I even remember the first line: "If you do not live near railroad tracks..."
