Reider Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Mauer owes Dozier two steak dinners. First the pop up, then the fumble.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Gibson made a nice play, too. Glad he didn't hurt something.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Come on! Two outs ... get outta there!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Dozier may be the top 2B defensively in MLB right now.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 That's right, Esco, it's only a single.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Well, that's a week's worth of production from the shortstop position.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I just opened the freezer and found a box of Butterscotch Dilly Bars. That was an unexpected bonus.
Willihammer Provisional Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Not bad http://i.imgur.com/hHlcv2O.gif
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Much better AB for Plouffe, couldn't find a gap.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 It is an official game. The Twins get to get all three games in vs. the Dodgers. Nice weather might have netted more dollars.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Not bad http://i.imgur.com/hHlcv2O.gif Here's what is so beautiful about that. He has absolutely no reason to bust his ass to backup that play. Almost every other 2B in baseball wouldn't be close enough to make that play. He did it... Because he's a ballplayer and he competes at a level most players don't. If I'm a GM... That play alone has me thinking about locking him up long term. Dozier!!! You've earned a major league Job!!!

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 And he made Mauer smile!! I'm smiling as well... Although... That could be the Dilly Bars.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 How long do the Dodgers go with Grienke? He's probably going to go over 100 pitches this inning. Looks like he didn't have much trouble with Colabello.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I'm smiling as well... Although... That could be the Dilly Bars.I knew it.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I thought that was strike three to Pinto.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I thought that was strike three to Pinto. The next one left no doubt.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Time to get the BP ready. Gibson with 6+ and the meat of the order coming up.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 My wife is probably gonna say something about my eating all 6 Dilly Bars.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 My wife is probably gonna say something about my eating all 6 Dilly Bars.I'd hide all the evidence at the bottom of the garbage can and plead ignorance. Edit: also wash face/hands, change shirt, and take breath mint.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 Just yesterday... I was trying to show the pitchers I coach... How to do a quick pick off move to first. I tried to show them by example. I'm 48 years old. I fell over and threw the ball into the dugout.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted May 1, 2014 Author Posted May 1, 2014 Crap. All these 2-out hits, not good.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 1, 2014 Posted May 1, 2014 I'd hide all the evidence at the bottom of the garbage can and plead ignorance. Right... Exactly... I took it a step further... I also took the trash out to the dumpster. You know... Just in case her wedding ring fell off and she goes through the garbage looking for it and finds the Dilly Bar wrappers.
