Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Kind of an Arizona Dust Motif? I was thinking spilled ashtray.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Foie Gras is one of my favorite things ever. Crisco > Foie Gras
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I'm all raw liver baby. Sounds like a Big Lebowski quote but I can't quite place it.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2014 Author Posted April 26, 2014 As a kid I did on occasion eat leverpostej, but not often.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Crisco > Foie Gras A seared slice of foie gras on top of a medium rare filet, with a drizzle of truffle demiglace will change you forever.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Sounds like a Big Lebowski quote but I can't quite place it.It's from The Big Lebowski.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Time to pull him? That's what she s... Too much?
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 A seared slice of foie gras on top of a medium rare filet, with a drizzle of truffle demiglace will change you forever. If after all these years my wife can't change me, I don't see how some goose lard will.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Meanwhile, nice outing Hughes-zee.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2014 Author Posted April 26, 2014 Does he come back out for the 8th? I worry that Burton will come in.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Just say NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to Burton. Burton would not be my choice here, either.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2014 Author Posted April 26, 2014 A seared slice of foie gras on top of a medium rare filet, with a drizzle of truffle demiglace will change you forever.Yeah, I don't eat my meat rare, either, other than raw fish from time to time.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 A seared slice of foie gras on top of a medium rare filet, with a drizzle of truffle demiglace will change you forever. Is anything in that sentence... You know... Umm food?
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 It's from The Big Lebowski. A scene that wound up on the cutting room floor, I take it.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Nice outing for Hughes. I wouldn't tempt fate by sending him out for the eighth.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 If after all these years my wife can't change me, I don't see how some goose lard will. There's a mental image I cant unsee.
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 That's what she s... Too much? I am now concerned about what ways you might think up, that goose lard might indeed change me. / edit - or Gibby, apparently

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2014 Author Posted April 26, 2014 Day like today, I love taking on White Sox fans at the Cell who are cold and talk about how Minnesota should've had a roof because as cold as it is here, it has to be colder there. That's when I turn around and ask if they bothered to check the temperature there to notice that it's 9 degrees warmer currently in Mpls than Chicago. And that it is often the case this time of year. Shuts them up into silence the rest of the game.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I remember they used to serve this at the dome. Yeah, Whatever happened to the Offal Chalet?
ashbury Verified Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Ugh, Bremer indicates it indeed will be Burton.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted April 26, 2014 Author Posted April 26, 2014 Okay one of the things I missed while napping or on the phone, what happened to Plouffe?

ashbury Verified Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I remember they used to serve this at the dome. At the Met, they brought it to your seat. Everything was better at the Met.

Gibby Provisional Member Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 At the Met, they brought it to your seat. Everything was better at the Met. Better than that horrid slurry of mystery meat and gloppy cheese sauce poured into a helmet, as featured in the pre-game.
